LED Flashlights – General Info

OK, you've been warned, don't read through this post unless you have good self control;-) Time for me to get my "revenge". All I wanted to do what replace a lost cheap LED flashlight when I found this addition feeding place!

Started with a TrustFire R5-A3. I was and still am completely blown away by that light. Then I read about the XM-L's and ended up getting an UltraFire C1, and of course some 18650s to go with it. Of course I had to order another R5 and more 14500s and another charger to give to my best friend.

Now I'm having a blast turning 50 yards into daytime but of course have been reading about throwers so I have to put down another $20 for an ebay Kegos that I'm waiting on;-)

I have to go on a business trip to see my best customer. He lives in the country with horses and will really be blown away by one of these good lights. Reading the recent discussions here got me pretty pumped about the xeno, especially since they brought out the XM-L. If rationality and budget were really driving me, and I could have learned what I now know before hand, this light alone -- forget the 14500s -- would truly be my ideal budget light. Although, what fun would that be;-)

All this has happened in the space of less than a month! This is one of the lowest financial points of my life. Still can't believe I've spent this much on flashlights. At least I can justify it by knowing that I still have less than one CPF good light;-)

For me the only thing it is lacking is a clip. I really wanted that for my customer as well so he could clip it to his cowboy hat. Fortunately I found this, and according to the guys at CPF, it will fit. I ordered 2 as somehow I don't think this is over yet;-)

I could be wrong, after all I'm still a newbe here, but somehow I think a few people are going to see this and just have to have another flashlight;-)

Yes, that Xeno is one of the most popular lights among members here. I've got a Blue(ish) one in XP-G.

I have a blue(ish) one in xm-l. I LOVE IT. and I know I don't need another, but am oh-so-tempted to get another...just to have it. lol.

Wade the addiction is only just started for you. In six months or so you will have a lot more lights.

I love my Xeno E03. It has kind of ruined other single AA lights for me.
