Shana Tova!

It's the Jewish new year's eve today (Rosh Hashana), so I wanted to wish you all Shana Tova! (Hebrew for "Good Year", our equivalent of "Happy New Year")

May you all have a year full of light, successful mods and enough budget for that one more flashlight you know you must buy!

(I would also wish you fast CN/HK deliveries, no magic smoke and approving SWMBOs, but I wanted to be realistic ;) )

And for those who can't read Hebrew or just don't see the letters, here's a highlighted version:

So, who has sharp enough eyes to spot the differences between the off and on pictures above?

And who will be the first to name all the flashlights participating in the picture?

Shana Tova! :)

As far as I can tell, four items switched places on the middle far-left side of the photos: a small white keychain flashlight (a throwy fauxton?), a white battery (Eneloop?), a white and green Duracell battery, and a mostly black battery. Happy New Year!

=P

I was able to figure out the "BLF" part.

I see two 502B's, a Solarforce L2i, and an AKOray K-106/Uniquefire AA-S1/whatever, and a X2000 zoomie.

Good stuff - very creative !!!

Shana Tova !

I also only got the BLF..but then again, I can't read hebrew. :)

Cool light display!!

And we have a winner! :)

It just didn't look right with the lights off, so I changed their position, but was too tired to turn on all the lights and take another picture. (It was 2:30am here...)

And you were right about the lights and batteries! The mostly black battery is a junk alkaline that sells 12 for 2.5$ in the local supermarket.

Very good! :)

Two 502Bs, one with Q5 and the other with 380nm UV MF drop-in; L2i with MF XM-L; Akoray K-106; DX C30.

And thanks Chicago X and fishmaniac! (and maybe kragmutt used shorthand to express "cool" too?)

Took me over an hour to set this all up, but it was fun!

So for those who can't read hebrew:
