Any other cells worthy of consideration ?

Have you considered any 18350s or 17500s?

In all honesty, Id advise you to pass on all that miserable garbage and not waste your money. Yeah, I know you have the itch, and its obvious that you're our battery guru. Just hold out a little longer for something worthy. Just my .02

Although here in the US one can purchase Eneloops or Duraloop at a comparable price to the LSD's listed, it might be helpful to some in the rest of the world to see the result of the BTY batteries linked. Never had any positive result out of BTY brand myself but these may be different, who knows.

EDIT: If you read the comments one user reported close to stated capacity on these, but the real mystery is if they are truly LSD.

Its still like flushing good money down the crapper if you ask me, but to each his own.

Genuine Eneloops are available world wide to those that search.

Agreed...

but in the name of the science of the ones listed these seem like the ones to pick

That's what I wanted to say too.

Forget the BTY.... try the eneloops which DX sells to see if they are original.... or how they perform

18350 ... ?? I only have a few lights to use them in 17500 ??

Now 18500 or 22500 ??

Yeah those AA's are a bit of a mine field .. Which is why DX should send me a packet of each for testing [ wishful thinking ]

ill have a look around ... But if some one has something particular in mind ?

It doesn't make a lick of sense, but have you considered http://www.dealextreme.com/p/genuine-sony-cycleenergy-2100mah-ni-mh-rechargeable-aa-batteries-4-pack-13453

More $$ than eneloops... maybe real, maybe not... lots of reasons against. But I'd still be curious if they were (a) real, and (b) up to stated capacity.

Pseudo-genuine Eneloops at DX. They are expensive... only if somebody wants to test. Only a suggestion. Maybe they are fake eneloops.

I have ordered the Btone AA 2500mAh to test them and I will order the Btone AAA 850mAh when money or points permits...

Wanted you to try these http://www.dealextreme.com/p/bty-2250mah-ready-to-use-rechargeable-aa-batteries-4-pack-39924

but i have a feeling it would be a colossal waste of time. I like the wrapping tho.

These batteries have veery good reputation on DX, they claim 2700mAh and the tests of the people report about 2700mAh capacity. They are NOT LSD

But, you have to like the name and packaging

I received a set of these in a trade. I’ll throw them in the Maha if you would like capacity, or I can forward to old4570 for full testing.

hey, old4570... finally which battery did you purchased to test?

Have you tested one of Reverend Jims batteries yet?

Reverend Jim = Sorry no !

What did I buy , Yezl 18650 and Sanyo 2600 [ 18650 ] from CNQ .

The one Sanyo cell I have is great [ Ebay ] , but cost more [ $11 shipped ] so CNQ should undercut this by quite a bit , and the Yezl , as no one has said anything bad about it [ HAve I seen 1 or two discharge results ] , so at the current price , if it performs well , could be a very good buy , considering TFF has become a bit of a lottery .

By far the best buy on the net for name brand (panasonic) 18650's. I think someone here tested them at 2350 mAh.

That was me actually I got 2530mah at .5 amps on my Turnigy hobby charger. I just wanted someone to confirm that number it seamed high. That was a battery with 5 cycles on it, a brand new one barely broke into the 2300s.
