Knife Review: Enlan EL-10 (8Cr13MoV, 3.4in, liner lock)

Hey there BLF. Here’s another budget blade review for you- the Enlan EL-10. It’s a larger, sorta heavy, overbuilt folder from Enlan that has a cool looking G10 handle, and uses a liner lock. Anyway, just about everything you need to know is in the video review, so check it out. Feel free to hit me up with any questions. This knife was provided by Gear Best for review, and you can buy it through a link they provided here.

Nice video… cheap and great knife… have one on order. :+1:

As long as you don’t mind a bit of a heavy knife- you’ll like it. Thanks!

Thank you for the review…That is a very nice looking knife. The scales make it. Heavy is Heavy though. That said, I don’t mind the weight at all of the El-01. So this one would not hinder me at all. But alas, in the world of budget, an abundance of cutting tools already exist in contrast to the shortage of corresponding Pesos :money_mouth_face:

Coincidence? I think not.

Anyway, thanks for the review. Been looking for a cheap folder.

Thanks mhalen. I love your knife reviews. They are so matter-of-fact.

Now for a request… I have tried ordering a few knives from your reviews, but, as I live in Australia, Big Brother does not allow me to import any semi-automatic or automatic knives. :frowning: I have tried, but end up getting a nice explanatory notice from our Customs Dept. instead of the knives.

Now I am looking for recommendations, for manually opening knives (these seem OK so far…) with a blade of 4 inches or more.
This Enlan EL-10 you show seems to open quickly, so might be semi-auto. That would not get through or Customs Dept.

Do you have a similar manual blade that might get through? Thanks.

A blade of more than 4 inches that needs 2 hands to open. I don’t believe I have ever reviewed one. Most of the stuff I review is about 2.75-4 inches. I think about the closest things to a two handed opener I have reviewed is:

But it’s a slip joint.
