My Youtube Review:

Construction:
This light is as simple as they come. It’s a twist head AAA flashlight with a wire style pocket clip. Threads were nice and clean, has an orange peel reflector and seems to be built very well! The o-rings were in tact and properly lubed. The lens is double sided AR glass. They put alot of attention into detail for such a small and inexpensive light.
Performance:
My ceiling bounce test numbers were very consistent with Lumintop’s advertised brightness
Brightness was very similar with both Alkaline and NIMH
the mode spacing falls right in line with other popular AAA lights.
The worm is a weak performer with Alkaline batteries, but is fantastic with NIMH
The worm really stands its ground with the competition. It kept up with the Thrunite Ti5 very well! Shows good current regulation and holds a nice bright beam right up to the very end.
Medium mode showed similar results. NIMH is the way to go with this light.
So as you can see the Lumintop worm performs just as good or better than the competition, and manages to do this for a $15 price. This light has definitely made it into the hall of fame and will be one of the lights I use as a standard to compare for AAA lights in the future.

Final Summary:
At $15 this light is a steal! Everything about the light is good. The fit and finish are good, construction is good, performance is good. I definitely have a strong preference to a tail switch AAA over a twist head design, but that is just a preference. I think the multiple color options are refreshing and it draws less attention in my pocket. I typically carry 1-AAA lights in my shirt pocket and blue is definitely noticed alot less than black. The user interface is simple and this light doesn’t have any strobe or emergency modes that you have to worry about. The mode sequence is M-L-H and repeats.
Overall I think this is a great light, and is going to be a light that I use to benchmark AAA lights in the future due to its strong performance in the runtime testing.
