Banggood customer service, or lack thereof

First purchase from banggood, and I had enough. I purchased a flashlight, which misses a short-click to low mode function in the UI. Asked around on forums, turns out it may be a pre-production UI or what ever. This is my experience with Banggood:

Day 1, request for return on banggood. Uploaded images and videos (be aware, this is MANDATORY if you want a return).
Day 1, contacted banggood on BLF, asked for return very politely. They asked for the order #. Then no reply.
Day 2, contact banggood again, “Hi, would you please help me with this issue?”
Day 6, banggood replies, “No, it need long click to turn on.” My reply “which is the problem. I would like to return it.”
And they stopped replying.
By now (day 10 or so?), nothing happens on banggood, although they say returns will be processed in 48 hours.
By the way, I used M4D M4X’s code for this purchase. Contacted him very politely to see if he can help me. No reply.

Whether it’s qc problem or not, I as a customer have every right to return a product. This is how you service customers? Maybe I am spoiled by amazon or any other honest retails in the States, but this is simply the worst shopping experience for me.

What did the productpage say when you ordered about this? Now it says kind of what yours is doing.

It is not a cheap light, but what would sending it back cost you?
_Can I Return A Product?
Banggood’s 3 Day Return To Us policy covers returns, you only receive a partial refund as you must pay for the original shipping and the return shipping._

On the bright side, longer press for turn on is very safe.

And well, important, don’t get worked up.
Just relax and answer their questions
repeat yours after 48 hours of no answering, (you got to give them time so thats where the “rela” is coming from  )

My suggestion, if you purchased through paypal. Do your correspondence through paypal resolution center. You can email, send pictures, videos, or whatever through them. At least it drives the point that you are willing to follow up. I’ve only had 1 issue with Banggood, and it was a US warehouse issue, no less. After multiple attempts, through their system, I emailed them through Paypal, and It was resolved the same day. (They actually told me to file a claim, so they could refund)

I presume you’re referring to the Manker T01? I have that light; mine has short-click to low, and long-click for the last used mode. IMO, you’re really not missing much if yours doesn’t have it. I find it more confusing with two ways to turn on the light, than helpful. Especially since there’s only one way to turn off the light (long-click). I think turning on and turning off should be the same method.

Besides, with short click, you have a greater risk of the light coming on accidentally in your pocket.

I understand you feel that you want the short-click version, but if you actually tried it, you might actually prefer the version you got. I don’t hate the short-click feature mine has, but I don’t think it adds much.

I think Manker added it because people were complaining about not having a way to force the light to turn on in moonlight. But this really isn’t a light that benefits much from moonlight, since it’s designed much more for throw and distance. I programmed my low mode to be several lumens, not “moonlight”. And I’m a big moonlight fan on almost all my other lights… just not for throwers.

It is not a pre-production UI. It is the same UI that I have which is a production model.

If you are in the States, pm me. I may be willing to take that thing off your hands.

still no reply from these people. What a ignorant and pathetic dealer. Yes you can trick everyone’s money, for once. What a joke.

I’m curious to know how you guys deduced what light he has? I’ve read the thread 3 times and see no mention of it. :?:
