Please Recommend me a Flashlight. :)

Ok so I have been trying to decide now for ages what flashlight to get my folks who live right by the coast where it is quite dark :D and somewhat dangerous. (There have been quite a few break-ins of late in the area).

Beside that I have a Fenix TK45 myself which is a nice floody light but a bit expensive.I have considered multiple times if a less expensive 18650 combo (flashlight/batteries/charger) might work out but I don't trust my folks enough to keep tabs on the charging and making sure the batteries are still healthy etc.

So I have settled on a AA light. I quite like the look of the Olight S 65 (6xAAs) as it looks like it has decent runtimes and isn't too much but not excessively large either. I have thought about the ZL Q50 as well but I think I would like something that could sustain the higher output modes for more than a few minutes.

Thoughts...?

ultrafire mcu-c88 built like a tank ..28$ from manafont ,, http://www.manafont.com/product_info.php/ultrafire-c88-cree-q5-3mode-memory-led-flashlight-aa-p-4633

Jetbeam PA40? Very nice light with aa config. Also cheaper than the olight s 65.

I second the PA40 suggestion. Nice light and with the carry case and included accessories, its easily giftable. Its not what I would consider budget but its reasonably priced for what you get.

Thanks for the recommendations. Boaz the c88 looks nice but I want something with a little bit more oomph. Gen I like the look of the PA40. Can be had from HKequipment for a good price and also has the battery indicator like the Olight which is a nice feature. I just realized that importing the Olight would probably cost the same amount as what a guy sells the Fenix TK45 flashlights here for at the moment (which work out to be about $130 for me).

Now the next question, I see Focalprice and HKequipment both have it for around $69. Which one should I go for...?

HKequipment every time.

Thanks. Had a sneaking suspicion that would be the answer, just had to confirm! :)

So the Jetbeam finally arrived after ordering it from HKequipment in a really fast time..! All that i can say is this light looks excellent and feels soooo comfortable in hand. I love the battery indicator which gives you a very good indication of the remaining battery life so no surprises there! I'm a little bit sad that this will be passes on to my folks although I'm sure it will serve them very well. Big thumbs up from my side!
