Interesting!!! Cool

I wonder if they used the old X60 Charging mechanism that gave so much problems in the past or did they switch to something better?

I hope it is not the more expensive rechargeable one with battery included.

It looks like the handle can take 8× 18650 cells.

I think it is also wisely with 5x Cree XHP35. The drainage on Turbo will be very high.

At the X60M after 2 minutes turbo shuts down to 4000 lumens.

For me, the only reason I use the X60 is because of the selector ring!

+1

but I think, due to one member here bashing them constantly over mishap in charging circuit (that they corected), they will not cooperate with BLF anymore… :/

Mmm that looks like a lanyard attachment point, not a side clicky. Unless you have a different picture I don’t

I’ve readed on a German forum that Acebeam will charge $500 for this light, accupack and charger included. Pfff that’s a lot of money for a flashlight.

$500? I recoil from it as from a hot flame. Pun not intended.

I still think Acebeam sucks. Just a personal feeling, from previous dealings.

Yep Acebeam sucks. Specially the warranty.

They simply ignored me when I asked about returning or even repairing my K70 whining noise issues, and said they would message me back as soon they find out the solution. It’s been 6 months now and nothing.

I guess I’ll have to deal with it…

Hoping the build quality has been stepped up a bit from the previous x60 and do away with the problematic charging system! I find the k60 and k70 of high quality , hoping it is a continuing trend……….

Price wise, $250-$300 tops

Has to compete with the rc40vnT for me, around 8000lm /500kcd from the xm-l2 PDT 5000k’s

They do seam to be of the stonewalling variety. Personally, I’m happy with the lights I’ve gotten but any contact I’ve tried to make with them has met 0 response thus far. I recently got the EC60 and “Acebeam” was misspelled on the light. Mine says Aecbeam and a few others have posted the same information. I wonder if this might speak to the morale level in-house. I was riding the wave with the K60 K70 lineup but it might be time to ditch, as the saying goes.

Small and medium size lights are all fine and dandy, but they are not able to provide the combination of both throw and power that I have come to like oh so much.

Manufacturers do provide plenty of high power non-throwy flooders, and they also provide some large throwers that have not quite the power of a big flooder.

Here, we have what appears to be a good faith attempt to provide an enthusiastic level of throw along with an enthusiastic level of power in a factory light. So why knock it?

Five XHP35 in a large light looks like an appealing alternative to the RC40 replete with its six XM-L2 that provides only half the power of this item.

This light occupies a unique, salient point on the size/power/throw continuum, so I eagerly await it. Smile

Manufacturers need to go back to 3 x (blank) emitters like the TK75, 70, and BTU Shocker. There just isn’t enough range available in the smaller cup SR King-sized multi-emitter lights.
