Battery for UF-2100

Does anyone know if the UniqueFire UF-2100 is direct drive in high?

I have Cytac 2600 batteries that seem very powerful, and I think it burned out the emitter in another light I suspect was direct drive in high mode. I don't see any product descriptions anywhere online that says the UF-2100 is digitally regulated.

I have lesser protected batteries, the UltraFire 3000 red ones and SoShine black 2800 ones. I'm thinking I should use only these batteries in the UF-2100.

Would this be wise?

Yes it's Direct Drive. On my Sanyo i get 4.65Amps snd on my panasonic I get over 5Amps. I'm glad I have Trustfire Grey I only get 2.8 - 3Amps.

Thank you for that information. I won't use Cytac batteries in the UF-2100, or any light I have in the future that is direct drive.
