Hello and Greetings from Thuringia

Hello.

I'm from Germany. I am 54 years old and I work in the energy sector. For some time now, I've been passionate about collecting flashlights of all kinds. In the meantime, the collection has grown to over a hundred lamps, various manufacturers. I hope that my collection with your help and support continues to grow. I wish you all a nice day.
(Sorry for my bad English)

Best Regards, Hardware

Welcome to BLF! If you’re a flashlight addict and you love it, you’re definitely in the right place! Party

First of all thank you for the welcome greetings.

I tried to upload pictures here, but it does not work. Does anyone have a tip for me?

You have to upload pictures to image hosting web site (there are many that are free) and then just past the link here using image icon in your post editor…

Also a heartfelt thanks for the welcome greetings again.

@everydaysurvivalgear

The HID spotlight was once a halogen construction lamp. A friendly Flashaholic has me this converted. The technical data are:

- Powli 330 halogen spotlight with 20cm Reflector
- Zippy Flightmax LiPo battery pack with a nominal voltage of 14.8 volts and a capacity of 8000mAh
- Voltage control with separately switchable voltmeter
- Large 100 watt HID ballast
- Luminaires 100 Watt H3 HID Xenon burner

He was not yet surveyed. But you can see with a binoculars 1000 meters away still enough light arrives :).

Wow, you really know how to introduce yourself.  Welcome to the forum Hardware.  Your english is fine, but you don't have to worry about that here anyway.

Is that a picture of your dog in your avatar?  My avatar is an IR picture of one of my best buddies.

Hi @ImA4Wheelr.

Thank you for the flowers.

Yes, this is my old friend Angelo. Unfortunately, I had to let him sleep in August 2016. It was a difficult time. I now have a new dog, a 1 year old male. A wonderful friend and comrade.
There is no more faithful soul than that of a dog. Nevertheless, I still miss Angelo. cry

Welcome to BLF!! It seems like you are in right place. That is quite a collection.

Welcome to BLF Hardware! Your lighted display case is just as impressive as your flashlight collection.

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

Angelo certainly was hansom. Sounds like you two were very lucky to have each other. My wife had a special friend before I met her. She lost him many years ago, but uses his picture in her avatar (in her forums) sometimes too.  She and I adopted our two furry babies and she loves them just as much, but they are here everyday to see.  Having him in you avatar is a nice way to keep the memory and spirit of a loved one alive.

So many nice people here, thank you.

That I had forgotten in the entrance post to mention. Because of my showcase ... I am also for some time in the German "torch-lamp-forum" on the way. Excuse that, please.

We have lots of members that also visit other flashlight forums. In fact, if you visit the Home page of this forum and scroll down to the bottom left corner, you’ll see several links to other flashlight forums. Taschenlampen-forum is one of them. Wink

@Stittville Ed

Many Thanks. Yes, I have already noticed. One feels comfortable here.

@Coppet
