DinoDirect Will Be Getting More Of My Business

I placed an order on 10-25-11for a pair of Trustfire flame batteries that were like $6.79 and I got it today 11-03-11.  Now that is lightning quick.  Now I have yet to see another Asian company beat this.

Same experience here. My last two orders, first two outside of group buys, one came nine days after ordering and the other is still in transit but shipped the day after ordering. The one I got already was shipped registered and I did not select or pay for that service.

Both of my orders from DD arrived within 10-14 days.

My TF Flames (the $6.71 per pair ones) came yesterday via unregistered mail!  Going to be ordering more as the first discharge yielded 2.3Ah, same as my last order from them.  These are not GBs.

What do you all think of the Trustfire Flames compared to the XTAR 18700 with Sanyo inside? Pretty decent price.

Wow- that's quick from Asia.

I was afraid to order from DX after reading about the wait times BEFORE they even ship.

Two TF Flames for less than $7.00 is great also.

Well a lot depends on how you compare them for price paid.  I love my Xtar batteries and I like the Hi-Max I have.  Both may be better batteries and they should be when compared to the Trustfire flames even when you pay say $10 for the flames a set for they do cost a little more.  But when you only pay $6.71 for the flames a set, now you got to say this that I can buy 4 for what I pay about for 2 Xtars.  I would say that 4 Trustfire flames will last a long time.  I have had some xtremely long runtimes in some of my lights that I tested the Trustfire flames in.  I have no complaints so far, and all seem to perform well after charging.  Most test at around 4.12 volts after charging.  About the exact same as the Xtars.

Thanks ILIKEFLASHLIGHTS, does sound like a bargain for the Flames.

Both the Flames and the XTARs/Sanyo/Panny/Solarforce have their places in my flashlights. Just put the Flames into the budget flashlights, match them up....no issue.

The TF Flames come in esp useful when you are a collector and need to have a cell in 80% of your lights (damn difficult to screw in and out the tailcap everytime you wanna use them).

I should add to this thread for the future buys from DD on these Protected Trustfire 18650, there are a few complains about DD is shipping out Unprotected ones instead. So buy at your own risk.

DD has taken up to 2-3 days to ship my orders, and in those instances, they gave me 50c coupons, so now I have another 1$ off my next order.

So to get 50c back, on a $4.50 trust fire 14500 order, makes those cells $4 a pair. So those extra few days mean another 10% off my order price.

OK, I must say that shipping was fast, about 1 week, but "packaging" time was more than week (in my case, I bought ITP SA1)

I have you beat. I ordered an L2t from Solarforce-sales on the 25th and got it yesterday. Also, I've ordered stuff from Tmart, another Chinese site and gotten my goods just 2 days later with free postage. They have the advantage though of having a US warehouse they can ship from if your items are stocked there and most of them are, unlike DX's US warehouse where they only have about 60 items stocked.

Thats why I love Tmart. Quick fix. I could love the DX USA warehouse but it seems to be DXs P7 dumping ground. I made one order from DX\USA and the shipping was quick but it still took the about a week to get it into the envelope.

Well these two Trustfire flame 18650 batteries I got are unprotected.  I got 3 more sets coming.  Not a happy camper.

Their live support is pretty good, I just canceled my order... now waiting for a refund. They offered a $7 gift card... I declined and insisted on a PP refund. They agreed.

Well Sharon said I will get a full refund for this pair in my paypal account in 2 days.  The other order we will wait and see and go from there.  My question I wanted answered with Sharon via live chat is how in the hell did I get these fakes from their company.  She tried to say that Trustfire goofed.  I'm not buying that.  They don't even make Trustfire flame unprotected 18650 batteries that I am aware of corrcect me if I am wrong.

I have a pair of UNprotected 14500 flames and a pair of protected 14500 flames. The UN put out more current than the protected.

I wonder if these 18650's are the same with regards to that?

Slightly. UniqueFire UF-2100 protected 3.5A and unprotected 3.8A.

My UN-protected took "only" 3,8A but for reference, it is still higher than with my previous TF Flame protecteds with same DMM.

Well I just got done charging both of mine with the Xtar WP2 charger and both topped off at 4.13 volts.  That's the exact same as the protected ones I have.

The cells UN-protected have his physical limit, in the protected is regulated(lowered) by the pcb

btw you can't never say how much with chinese batteries, it varies from lot to lot

@ILIKEFLASHLIGHT the protection pcb usually cut at 4,25/4,3v  and at 2,7/2,5v down, in my experience, than in that case the charger stop the charge at 4,13v(optimal for make it last long), but I prefer charge at 4,25 volt, cell will give a 10/15% extra power but also will be damaged sightly faster
