Gearbest/Aliexpress sites sign me out every 30mins?

The Gearbest and Aliexpress sites sign me out after about every 30mins, even if I check the keep me signed in box, BangGood and FastTech work as expected, I stayed signed in permanently on those sites. This is very annoying because 90% of the time when I follow links to deals or nice lights/handy tools to save the item to my wishlist or cart I have to sign-in again, drives me nuts!!

Has anyone else maybe experience this and have a suitable work around?

Maybe there's a setting under account settings on Gearbest and Aliexpress, I couldn't find anything, I'm on Firefox.

Always.
I’m also using Firefox and have this with AE and GB - very annoying tbh

I see nothing wrong with getting kicked. What are you doing logged in there that long, remodeling?

Same here. BangGood I’m always signed in. GearBest not so… Another issue is that when I start typing my e-mail for login, it also doesn’t show my full address at the bottom that I can click; instead I have to completely type my address manually. It is annoying indeed…

First thing is almost always clear cookies

yeah they both kick me out. solution: auto-reload plug-in. I put ebay, Gearbest on 3 minutes and AE on 1-2 minutes. works.
Even more annoying are the hidden trackers and adware on some websites, they take forever to load up. weird servers, too.

With GearBest you need to be logged in to check whether a discount code works.

At least they did away with the captcha thing when logging in. That was annoying as hell.

Yeah +1
I think this is why email addresses no longer auto complete, that works as Turing test now

They might’ve busted something in the process, ’cause since the changeover my login/password doesn’t work anymore. :stuck_out_tongue:

Correct. I delete cookies automatically every time the browser is closed. I save the login info within the browser on my home PC.

I click whatever link to log in, the box pops up with necessary info, click log in, and I'm in.

When I log out (or if I don't) on closing the browser, the cookie goes "poof"

There again as I mentioned above. Simple process.

If you are wanting to "stay" logged in indefinitely, yes, I can see their server kicking you for no activity after a set amount of time, as a safety mechanism for said website.

It's not necessary though, even wiley websites like eBay and Paypal allow you to be permanently(for a good week or 2 at least) logged in.

Either way let me choose to be permanently logged in or not, it's my responsibility, or at least let me stay logged in for 24hrs, being logged out every 30mins or or so is the pits.

Well, not much of an issue for me with sites that kick you out relatively quickly.

It once happened to me in AliExpress some time ago I had a session of article url clearings and frequent logins and the sh1t started to ask input for verify sliding bars and captchas in all of the login screens; got me mad then. Now I may see a verify slider once in a while and many times do away with it reloading the page.

This login stuff is due to the way these websites are coded. With Android Chrome it @#$% me the sites which try to restrict your access to certain information about the page elements. Examples: item photo links in Banggood and AliExpress (right click/long tap doesn't works on images, can't even select text in AE). Of course I rape the info anyway via “view-source:” url prefixes, disabling JavaShit and or the usage of an alternative browser like Dolphin (supports flash, thus I can see Banggood coupons too).

Cheers ^:)

P.D.: I always load desktop webpages on mobile.
