No offense but there's a reason DX essentially stopped the cheap-gimmicks-for-points scheme years ago. It all comes down to this: why should I spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars just to get some cheap crap I never wanted in the first place? Think CVP! Who are you trying to sell to, yada yada, first year of business school, etc.
This is a budget light forum. If you want to make money here, you simply need to do better. Offer us something we want at a great price and we'll consider it. You can call that penetration pricing, you can call it a promotion, call it whatever but it is what it is - offering us flashlights we either don't want or already own at prices that are at best marginally better than the competition isn't going to help your company.
Look at what your competition is doing. They are trying to listen to what we want and then they try to work the angle they know people on a budget light forum will most likely care about: price.
I don't mean to be rude. I'm just trying to make sure you don't waste your time.
If you want people to come to your sale, then you need to in fact have a sale that will attract customers. If not, your not only typing to hear yourself type, but wasting our time.
It got me thinking then that sellers can post bogus deals and in effect get to put their links in this site, similar to paisleys. Except that in this case the seller is playing by the rule but the effect is the same, putting links for their products/site. I am talking in general and not specifically the seller in this thread.
