AA keychain light??

Are there any AA /14500 lights that can go on a keychain.

Most of them

AA flashlights are a little big for keychains in my opinion. I use AAA flashlights and still find it big for my keychain. Coin cell flashlights is what I prefer in size but I hate their runtime and output.

If you still need one I would recommend a Fenix E12.

The only one I’d use as a keychain is a DQG Tiny AA ti with a Sanyo 14500 840mAh cell

It’s the smallest and lightest combo for AA

That’s what i was thinking . Thanks

I tried putting a Tank 007 E19 on my key ring and took it off four days later. A little too big, and the head managed to unscrew at least once a day while it was in my pocket. Switched to an Olight I3E AAA and it’s worked for close to two years no problem.

I will probably just look at aaa lights. What are the brightest aaa lights out there?

I put the Fenix UC02 on my key ring and I hardly notice it there. Its a great little powerhouse using an XP-G2 to put out 10 or 130 lumens. It is absolutely perfect for a keychain light.

Utorch UT01?

That’s what I have on my keys. It’s not any bigger than my truck’s key fob. In total its a bit bulky though.

The Odepro EA01 is quite nice (twisty). Got one to review, and was quite impressed (honestly, not trying to shill for it).

Astrolux A01 is nice, too (also twisty), but while the N219 puts out much nicer light, it’s not as bright as the “standard” XP-G.

Ditto the BLF348-219 (rear clicky). The Singfire ’348 XP-G might be as bright as the EA01.

My problem with the 348s is that the threads are really thin/fine, and easy to strip and/or crossthread. The one I played with most (got 4) is almost press-fit at this point. Love the style, but the threads suck.

I’d have to disagree. The sharp angles on the bezel and head, along with the aggressive knurling on the tailcap are going to scratch up whatever is near it and / or tear a hole in the pocket.

Peak Eiger X / Ultra X are among the strongest while being expensive (as opposed to very expensive  ).
I’m just speaking with Peak and they say there will be new, brighter LEDs offered soon.
MBI HF may be slightly stronger, though is not produced anymore.
TnC MicroLux dragon is the strongest that I’m aware of, making 1klm.
