Budget 4x18650 thrower?

Is there a 3x or 4x 18650 thrower out there for under $100 that's worth recommending?

I'm seeing the JetBeam T6, but it looks like it's more of a flood light than a thrower...

Thanks!

Klarus G35?

if you dont want to mod the G35 its a good choice for a reflector thrower

Klarus G35.

Thanks.

Will the G35 achieve close to max brightness on NCR18650B cells or would it greatly benefit from GA cells, for example?

Since it has 3s cells, it will need around 1.5 amps from each cell. Non high drain cells will be fine.

That is not true

The light is a 2P+1P light

meaning it can be run with a single cell 2 cells or 3 cells

running with 2P it draws 2.2A per cell
with 1P it draws 4.3A

Also the odd battery configuration produces this runtime graph, where the light switches from 2 almost empty cells to the 1 cell with reduced output

So it first depletes the 2 cells, and then switches to the 3rd cell? That is one odd setup indeed.

Can the NiteCore TM16GT be had for under $100 from anywhere currently? I know there was a group buy on it some time ago…

Also, what about HaikeLite MT07 Buffalo?
