'New' multi AA light

ok, this is new to me at least, and I'm posting w/ the hope it isn't new to someone here;)

warning, it is BLUE, despite the white beamshots and reviews of a headlamp (wtf?!)

unfortunately, it looks like there's a big hole under the star, making it less desireable than the c88, and more expensive than the saik 305

the emitter looks way out of center, but that looks like a pretty big reflector.

maybe it is for sale cheaper somewhere else, preferable where there's useful information...

The sad thing is ...this is the kind of light you'd actually want to see beam shots of ....

 what's the emitter ?

richaung..not a fine maker of lights ..

spend the extra dime and get the c-88 no one who's ever bought it has EVER said a bad word about it ..

Well, it has a minute surface light cup, overall attack on the front and it comes with an inserted link. Weatherproofness is storm work normally.

To sum it all up these features make this LED headlamp attractive in the flashlight family.

The reviewers also find it to be a good headlamp.

Let me know if you need more info Smile

yeah I'm thoroughly unimpressed w/ DD.

I think this is a clone of some light that I saw elsewhere but I don't think it was AA and it was like 3x as much (which means my budget brain didn't cache the specs lol).

I'd actually like a powerful blue flood light for camping/fishing but I sure as hell won't waste that much on this.

I'll go w/ the c88 as soon as it shows up at a budget price again, for sure...but if this thing turns up for $10, I'm all over it:)

EDIT: not 3x as much, less than 20% more.  I would order this light right now if it didn't have a charge port and had replaceable batteries.  it even has a side switch.

EDIT2: I just realized - that crazy thing has an emitter on each end?!  kinda like my ex Foot in Mouth

EDIT3: The blue beamshot jpg for the yezl d2 is named m2g - and one of their other blue lights happens to be named m2.  not cool...

Hey, JohnnyMac just thought this up in another thread.

Hmm, well, his imaginary version had flood at one end and throw at the other.  Still, nice to see our dreams made flesh photons.

That thing has a 56mm head !!!   Shame the pill looks hollow.   But its still tempting for modding....Undecided

aggh, so close to guying this - someday I'll post a pic of my collection - I like stuff that's different...nothing against a P60 but I'm bored w/ 101 versions of it

dual ended, side button - put an aspheric on one end and swap out the blue emitter, awesome - although, i'd probably stick w/ blue/white

ONLY reason I haven't ordered is not knowing if I can replace the internal battery - what a stupid design choice - makes me think the light can't be disassembled at all
