I responded to the Z2 thread couple years ago. So now i have 3 of these. Even the new one is crazy.
I sent one back and never heard anything about it. These folks have been great and i love their stuff, especially the Z2.
Is anyone here fixing these?
I have had solarforce for years, but only the P60 lights (L2, L2T, SS,…).
What exactly is wrong with the light(s)? DOA?
One was DOA. The others are experiencing grounding issues covered in the thread on here.
P60 lights are awesome. These….not so much.
Sadly it a perfect size and all, but i need reliability for EDC. Figured there were already guts hotrodding them out on here.
Have a look at the Oshpark thread and find a good driver if you want, the hosts are probably fine. had a few grounding issues with shop lights and other lights, they can be handled if you invest a bit of time investigating, clean the threads and potentially change the driver.
Im just looking for the guy doing the work. I dont mess with em myself.
In that case you might find someone local, there are quite a few Americans on here (since shipping will most likely not be worth the effort).
