Faulty Astrolux MF-01 - need diagnosis

Hello.
My Astrolux MF-01 - first batch - broke after less than two days. After a session outside I came back and placed the flashlight on desk. Suddenly, one bank of LEDs turned ON with full power. Now it can’t be turned off, as soon as I screw the tailcap or head, it is again on full power.

Banggood customer support asked me to check the batteries. Then recheck the batteries. Then they said it may be a battery holder problem. However, for me it looks like driver malfunction. I don’t want to disassemble it yet - prefer to wait for their warranty (and promised 3 days).
I would like to ask the professionals here to check those videos and give their opinion. Maybe I am wrong, but if no - I hope that sending to Banggood a link to this topic would help, sparing me the waiting and BG additional costs.

this problem is not new
its definitely a faulty driver

To get a fix till replacement driver send from BG you could just remove that cable from the LED board to shut this bank down

The problem is - they are sending me battery holder, so I guess I will wait a month, get it - then after ensuring it won’t be fixed ask them again… and wait… and wait…
Thats why I asked here - assuming few people can confirm it is a driver problem, maybe BG customer support can send me the proper part a little faster.

Edit: The LEDs start to shine at about 5V, so it is clearly a short in the driver…

Did anyone else have similar problem? Only one I see was uneven LED brightness on low - or one bank of LEDs not working…

You could buy a MF01 NarsilM driver, but as I have no boards stocked it also takes a few weeks to get it

I had one bank of leds go out on my new MF01 and after 3 emails from banggood they have sent me a new head out.
