Small issue of my olight s2 cu

This is the first time I have problem with a Olight.

Ok, story time...

I got my Olight s2 cu about two days ago, a bit late of the game, I know....

Anyhow, I LOVE it, just LOVE it!

Some pics from my phone...

Hope it works...

Love the copper. love the weight, love the looking and UI. One thing I really appreciate is the true moonlight mode.

Well, I have a very bad habit...

I like to look in to the light when they are on ML/FF mode, I know, I know, I am not the only one who does that, I am not crazy, I don't have a problem, thanks for the therapy, everyone.

However...

I found some dirt like things inside the lens...

Naturally, I start to wash the lens and try to fool myself those are just out side on top of the lens...it will be cleaned if I say that enough times.

Like almost every time I tried to fool myself...it did not work...

They are indeed inside the lens (Sad Face here, too lazy to find the emoji but not lazy enough to type this long fxxking sentence...still not crazy.)

Some pics to prove I am not delusional THIS TIME:

I live in Canada...at least I believe that i live in Canada...

There is no Olight store...and yes, I did contact Olight by email....

However, I just like to know...will this be something I should be worrying about?

I have confidence that Olight will give me a respire or replacement since it is a GREAT COMPANY!

That being said...I just don't know if I should bothered to ship the light back to US which will cost some money and time...

Do anyone have the same issue and Can I fix it my self easily, or am I being over worrying things again?

I always over worrying about everything...like globe warming, Human future, meaning of my life ect. thing like those...

Please let me know if I should file a warranty return or just deal with what it is and live happily ever after without worrying about some dirt behind a flash light lens?

Please let me know if you guys can see my pictures...

Or the whole post will be like someone dancing without music...that would be not very good..

Also, the reason I post it in 18560 light category is because I am a noob in this forum. Please let me know if I need move this post somewhere else...

Thanks...

I really hope I am not talking to myself this whole time...

I can see the first pic, but not the second or third.

are they just blank or is there any note?

I wonder why can you see the first one but not the rest of them since I used same source.

It’s probably just cosmetic, nothing to worry about but it shouldn’t really be there on a new light. If there is anything on the LED itself that could cause it to be damaged though.
I see your pictures, funny post

Thanks! I wonder if there is a way to check if there is anything on the LED...

However, the light works fine beside the fact it is bothering me every time I look into the light...

Use a magnifying glass or look at it on lowest mode, see any dark specs etc.

The third pic is the lowest mode...I believe there is nothing on the LED itself by what I can see.

Due to the nature of the lens...it is hard to actually located where the dirt is at.

The very light has no reflector so I am a bit confused where can they be if there is no reflector...

They look like a minus sign.

I can rarely see images from your source.

I use google picture album...I wonder why can you see the first one...thanks for letting me know.

I can’t see the pics… it’s a shame because I really well know Olight products and could tell if it’s normal or not

Also cant see your pics. postimages.org always works for me.

I can see them on phone but not on PC now.

No images here either!

Thanks for the tip, I will try to fix it with postimages.org.

Just enjoy using the light and don’t worry too much about the dirt. :). I hv the S2 and enjoying everytime I edc it.

I do love the light a lot. just a bit concern there are not just dirt but mold. As a photographer, i have lost lens because of mold...

I am carrying it everywhere. it is a fantastic EDC light.
