Just saw this on the Nitecore website.

I have about a half dozen headlamps, and my favorite is still my “old” Nitecore HC50. I love the beam pattern and the Nitecore headband straps are the most comfortable I’ve used. I don’t have a detached-battery-pack style headlamp, and that fact combined with my love of the HC50 makes me really interested in this HC70. I really like the features such as the ability to use the battery as a power bank, and easy swap of new cells into the battery pack for extended use. Also, it appears the headlamp can be powered by any source of USB power. The bezel looks screwed on, so emitter swaps should be possible.
