Zanflare F1 problems changing modes

Hi All.

I’m having some issues changing modes on my Zanflare F1.
they seem to change randomly.
sometimes a button presses changes the mode, some other times it doesnt.

No need to RMA it, since i already sent gearbest a message, and they issues a refund.
I was just wondering whether this was a common thing and could be repaired.

thanks

I have no idea.

Not sure if this is a coincidence or not. Someone just posted a thread of the Zanflare charger that is not working properly. Two minutes later I see your thread about your Zanflare flashlight malfunctioning. I see a pattern forming!

My F1 didn’t work properly too,it can’t turn on with tailswitch and when press mode selector it light up but turn off when release. I sent the VDO what happen and GB gave a refund.

arghmyeyes, I had a F1 that worked well (despite it had water infiltration) and it was replaced by Gearbest. The seconf one is working well, no complaints as well
So, to your “question” “I was just wondering whether this was a common thing and could be repaired” I guess this a No-No answer: NO, it doesn’t seem common, and unless you can open the F1 without damaging it (very hard as it is well glued all over it) and be able to repair the faulty component or issue, NO, it may not be a repairable thing! I’m sorry to hear about this situation, and glad that GB stepped in to make a refund!

I’m with you wolfodg, this seems to become a “pattern”, as other BLF members have been complaining about F1 faults.

Were these lights bought when the prices were lowered, 1 or 2 months ago, with coupons or flashsales, to nearly 1/3 of the price?

I wanna believe that production and Quality Control was not affected by the drop in prices or that the drops in prices were not due to “drops” in QC, but it seems that more and more there are complaints about a light that appeared as a tank or a bunker, solid, robust, well-functioning…

Maybe I’m extrapolating and these are just unfortunate cases in the middle of thousands, but GB and Zanflare must take the responsibility and head-up about this!!

I hope you can solve the flashlight issues :+1:
