I bought two Convoy S2+ flashlights during a GearBest deal recently and now need to figure out what charger/batteries to buy. I’m also planning on getting a Convoy C8 when I can find a good deal. For the charger, I was hoping to get something that is dummy proof as I don’t know what i’m doing. Would the LiitoKala Lii-402 be a good option since it’s pretty cheap or should I get something better? As for the batteries, I have no idea what to get. The flashlights will mostly be for emergency situations/nightstand duty so don’t need anything too fancy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Get Lii-500 instead. LCD display is very useful for charging Li-ION battery.
If you want to spend less on a charger, Liitokala Lii-402 will be alright. Also take a look at Lii-202 (and Lii-100). They're almost the same except with fewer slots, you likely don't need to charge four batteries at once? I wouldn't spend the money on Lii-500, personally. It's certainly worth buying if you want to analyse and test what batteries you have.
Any of the LitoKalla chargers are good, I would go for the 4 bay 500 (and I did) for a little future proofing. One nice thing about these chargers is that many of them (and the Li-500 is one of them) will also charge Eneloops and other rechargeable NiMh AA and AAA batteries. so in the long run you can save a little extra on those. As for your desire for a C8 - look into the new AstroLux from BangGood that is getting pretty good reviews here.
I’ll take a look at the Lii-500. As for batteries is the 30Q my best bet or are there other batteries that are a better value?
