BTW, Is there a threshold of posts before one can post a photo? I’ve tried Flicker (where I have my photos) and also signed up for Imgur - however, I’ve tried every possible way to post from both photo hosting sites with “insert image” or “insert link” and cannot get anything to show on “preview”, so I assume I can’t post photos yet?
Get the link from imgur with the file extension. Welcome to BLF!
Thank you! Imgur is stalled right now from high traffic volume, but I was able to get a test done before I deleted my test image.

There are no restrictions on photos. Imgur does work, but I don’t remember offhand which tag it uses.

Welcome to BLF Hampshire28! I’ve had success posting pictures using Flickr. Just “Copy Image Address” from your photo and paste it into the “Insert Image” icon in your comment. It also helps to put in a “Relative Width” so it sizes correctly on the screen.

I was able to get a photo up using “embed” with Flicker, but I am going to do my forum uploads with Imgur. The upload function was down a good part of today & it just started working again. Used the HTML posted directly into the comments box. (yes, liker many, I am a photobucket refugee).
