I’m quite interested in getting a couple of these to play with. But all I can find is E27 and no E26…From my research the E27 should fit into my California sockets but I hear the voltage is different since E27 bulbs are made for out of the country like UK. I’m tempted to just give it a try but worried I might burn my house down.
Can someone with more knowledge chime in please.
I tried a similar one some time ago.
-Cheap build quality
-RGB is the standard interface from the led strip, and not very bright. Maybe 300-400 lumens top.
-Speaker is mono and doesn’t sound pleasing
IMO it works as a novelty item or a party trick but not as a real bulb.
I sorta expected they are not very bright and sound quality is average. I figure these newer ones should be at least a little better than the older models.
I just want one for my karaoke room and In my shower.
Any electrical people think this should be still fairly safe to use?
wow, the music synchronization effect is so bewitching
