EagleTac MX30L3-C w/ 219b Nichia 4500k

I’ve been searching everywhere for 18650 or 26650 flashlight with nichia 219b 4000k – 4500k that are still available for purchase and to my surprise they are almost extinct. Fortunately through many hours of searching, I found and purchased a special edition of EagTac MX30L3-C w/ 219b Nichia 4500k from IG for $129, which is an IG exclusive 6× 219b Nichia 4500k 92cri. Shipping was super fast too.

The tint is very beautiful. Compared to my Astrolux S42 5000k 219c and Astrolux A01, the S42 appears cooler with more green tone. Compared with my lumintop tool with 219c 4000k, the tool is much more yellow and less appealing. This flashlight has one of the best neutral tints I’ve ever seen. However, I still prefer the tint on my Emisar D4 XP-L Hi 4000k 5D more because I like the slightly neutral/warm rosy tone which to me is perfect. However, this EagTac is probably as perfect neutral white as it gets.

I estimate it to be around 2,800 to 3,000 lumens using luxmeter compared to my other flashlights. I also like the double side button with rear clicky, which is so much easier to use than the typical single button flashlight.

There are only two left in stock. Probably the last 219b 4500k 18650 flashlights you can buy.

The 219b is a great LED. I’ve always been tempted by that eagletac light… always been to spendy for me though.

I have several EagleTacs/EAGTACs. I loved their old rotating ring illumination level control, but also being a “NB fan” had to get one of the 6x Nichia 219B MX25L3C models when they came out. That two-handed operation/rotating head stuff to change illumination levels got old real quick and it didn’t get much use, in spite of the beautiful Nichias. I was unaware they had a change of heart UI wise, as this MX30L3-C seems to address all my concerns.

Now there’s only one of these babies left at IG. THANKS!

I have several sets of their old colored screw-on front end filters, I hope they fit this one too. These make my other Eagle-Tacs the most powerful “greenies” I have, great for checking to see how many deer I have spending the night in the back yard without spooking them too much.

Eagtac web specs are for the latest version. The one sold on Illumination Gear is their own exclusive version with 219B 4500k. I have several 219c flashlights so I know for sure the one from IG is not 219c. I just checked IG’s website and the 219B version is completely sold out. That was the last 18650 219B 4500k flashlight you could have bought. I am very happy with mine.
