18650er Batteries from e-cigs

Hey,
I have a question ne and I steam on e-cigarettes and buy my 18650er Batteries here Now to my question I can use this 18650 synonymous for the enix FD65 Cree XHP35 or have a different voltage
Best regards, Mellie

Moin Mellie,

in this case it would be interesting to know the exact type of the 18650 you use - your link just takes me to the shop in general.

I say that the FD65 is very relaxed regarding different types of batteries. The only thing that might happen is that you do not reach Turbo…

Ciao - Peter

Moin, wait, I’ll check it out?

If Fenix FD65 doesn’t require button top cells for positive contact, you’re batteries will be just fine.

Most important is that you should always use same tipe batteries with same voltage, because they are in serial connection.

Fenix says it does require button tops. Perhaps these

Then FENIX should communcate better with it’s own flashlight - I got one and it takes every 18650 I got.

- Flat Top

- Button Top

- protected

  • unprotected

To be honest, I do not remember any FENIX, that doesn’t…

Is this guy saying it will work with both? I don’t understand the language

How did you do this? This was AWESOME!!! Jumping directly in the position in the video… cool… can you explain, how you made it?

:+1:

Regarding the language: hey, come on, every little child here in Germany, Switzerland or Austria would understand this…

He states, that it runs with Flat Top and with Button Top.

Regarding your link, the result is funny:

- the .com mentions “no flat top”

  • the .de mentions only “18650”

Don’t ask me, why…

on the video, you “share” and click the “start at”

Cool - Thank you!!

Why do I have the feeling we’ve been catfished?

Do you really think, a german e-cigarette-shop would start catfishing in an american forum?

If you only knew how many “UK Discount Kitchens” spammers have posted here.

This forum has been an equal-opportunity spam destination
for even the most unrelated products from many countries of origin.

Fascinating - when I think about how long it took me to understand the system of getting registrated, I expected that this would be a forum COMPLETELY FREE of any kind of Spam…

:disappointed:
