319a?

Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster. I have built a few triples and am planning on building a neutral tint triple nichia. A couple of months ago I looked into the 319a but there wasn’t a huge amount of info yet. I’ve searched but it seems like there still a not a whole lot of talk about this emitter. I love my 219c 4000k but want something more like 5000k and thinking about going with the 319a. Just seems like there’s not a whole lot of excitement about this emitter and I’m wondering why? How’s the tint compared to similar 219c etc. thanks for any info advice!

See here for a test of this LED:

Marginal improvement in output over the 219C with a larger die. Seems like a fine LED if you are okay with the larger die/beam size.

Thanks Easy! I had seen that test, part of the reason I am considering these but if the tint is all funky I’ll just stick with some 219c. I was looking specifically at the 319a 5000k 80+ cri. I know nichia have great tint in general but I can’t stand greenish tint, if someone who has both 219c and 319a of similar temperature could comment on the color quality comparison. I may just go ahead and try them. I’m sure if they were much worse than the 219 then people would be talking more about it lol. Thx
