Thrunite Neutron 2C V3 switch issue

I recently picked up a Thrunite Neutron 2C V3 to replace my old LED Lenser P7.

I love the size, the brightness, the battery indicator, and the UI but a bit dissapointed with the quality (compared to the P7 the anodising, build quality and carry case feel a bit cheap).

But the biggest issue is the switch, when it’s warm the switch doesn’t click when pressed. I used it last night out when it was about –2°C and it was fine, but using it around the house it has this problem. A lot of the time the switch starts to change the modes or gets stuck completely (see video below).

I know it’s likely mine has a fault with the switch. But after reading around I have found lots of posts about Thrunite’s switch problems.

Anyone else had/resolved this issue? I’m going to return this one, but if the replacement has the same issue I will look for a different brand.

I ordered a replacement, and it doesn’t have the same issue, so I don’t think it is a design issue.

I also took the opportunity to switch to the natural white version as I had ordered the cool white originally.
