Since BLF is growing and so is the thread count it would be nice to have some way to wade though all these threads in addition to “recent posts”.
When I look at “recent posts” now sometimes it’s overwhelming. If we had the ability to “subscribe” to certain sub-forums or the ability to look only at “unread threads” it would be much more manageable.
As it is, sometimes I’ll look at the first or even second page and not see anything that I’m interested in. It would be much more user friendly if there were a few more ways to customize the site based on ones personal interests.
I don’t know how hard that is to do but I thought I’d just mention it.
I’m with you. I made a thread with similar observations and request not too long ago.
With the push for a knife forum I now see even more threads abot knives, and with all the commercial posts sometimes there is nothing on the front page that I want to read.
I think it’s definitely time for a little more user control of the output.
