I have one of these (with the XHP-50 emitter), and while I like a lot of things about it, it’s just too cool for my taste. I’d like to swap the emitter for a warmer one.
My question is - is it a 6v or a 12v emitter?
I haven’t attempted yet to tear this one down. Are there any complications to watch for?
XHP50 cant be 6v or 12v. Voltage depends from pcb connection.
You need 6v config pcb.

It has been sometime since I swapped the emitter in mine, but as far as I recall it wasn’t glued.
The is some tint shift in the beam with the XHP50.2 even with the OP reflector, I like the beam of the XHP50 better.
Thanks. Maybe I’ll just trade it for something I like more. It’s a great light, but the tint just doesn’t do it for me.
My own fault, I should have went with the MTG-2 version.
