5050 LEDs are the ones with 6 pins, 3 each on opposite sides, that should fit on a star made for an XM-sized LED.

Question is, what about heatsinking? Imagine it should sit pretty cleanly, just held in by the sides vs pads on the bottom, but they’re used for strip-lighting on what barely passes for Cu foil, so…
Worst case, I’ll just throw a few on a generic peecee board (safety in numbers), maybe 3×3, and run them all in parallel. Still, it would be nice to stick ’em on a star, either single or triple.
