Need Help choosing Budget LED flashlight 18650

I have an Elfeland XM-L T6 3Modes 2000LM USB Rechargeable , but I was thinking its pretty good for the price. But I might be wrong, I need other one, I have my own fee supply of 18650’s I salvage from laptop bateries.

Is there any of these flashlights that takes 2x18650 batteries that would be interesting. Around 10 USD.

Best Regards

1: 1x XML will not give you 2000lms.
2: don’t use laptop batteries. Do you know the brand, MAH, or max amperage for those laptop batteries?

2.200 mah , they have a brand probably with newer batteries the output light could be brighter but i dont rly care.

They are ok.

Safety first. Running 2x 18650 in series can be dangerous if they are unprotected cells.

Not familiar with any light that uses 2x18650s for under $10

Not familiar with any either. I think you might be much happier with spending a bit more on a quality light. Maybe a BLF A6. Great price, great light, $22 US and you can burn through as many 18650’s as you like.

Yes, the BLF A6 is a nice light. But, it requires a good high-drain cell. A Samsung 30Q battery is inexpensive and works great with the BLF A6.

I suggest not using laptop cells in bright lights, since the battery will not be able to provide the high current that the light uses on maximum. However, laptop cells will work in the BLF A6, but you’ll only get about 70% of the maximum brightness.

I think the laptop cells should still be safe, though. The voltage sag from low-drain cells will prevent the light from drawing more current than the battery is spec’d for. Use them if you have to, but you’ll be much more happy with a good high-drain cell like the 30Q.
