Should be easy ;).
Thanks for the link Smile I’m planning to put a Black flat in it. Do you think it would be possible to put a real driver inside that flashlight or nah?

Yes, I think there is enough room (the actually put a spring between the led and the “driver” pcb, so that gives you maybe 5-7mm of height). The diameter would need to be quite small though.

Correct, a huge wavien collar + reflector in one piece! There were 20+ pcs of them. Each bulb last for only 400 hours (already 50% as bright as the new one). Christie rate it for 750 hours. There’s no way we would use up to 750 hours, it’s too dim already.
If you want it I can try to get some. You only need to pay the shipping and handling cost.

Is it a single piece of glass?
All the pictures I can find make it seem like two separate ones, I don’t know how it would be possible to manufacture it as a whole piece.
If the spherical part can be separated from the ellipsoidal part, I will definitely pay for the shipping costs Smile
Thanks for the offer!

I asked my friend whose still worked there. We’ll see if he still can get some for us. Hopefully the owner didn’t throw it already.

I remember when I was a boy back in early ’50’s.
Candle boy in local cinema.
My job was to change the spools. and switch Projectors.
Watching for the little dot on top\bottom? right of screen. Time to change.

Also swap out the carbon rods when they too short to run through a full spool.
I was dead meat if screen went dark b4 change over .
Got all my mates in though after lights went out. So a bonus hey.
PRE those lamps. yes.

Awesome, yeah I might stick a 17mm driver in there or something.
Or maybe take a P7 and convert it to 26650 and then mod it, idk. The 4xAAA battery lights like P7 and T7.2, T7M are the perfect diameter for 26650.
I don’t want to bother electrically insulating everything so I’m going to wait for the new osram LEDs to be available, the “new” black flat with neutral pad Smile

Nope it’s still in the box.
I’ll need to find some time to put it up for sale, haven’t sold anything on ebay before and I don’t think anyone on craigslist would be looking for this type of thing.

You are a lucky guy to find this 2500W short-arc xenon lamp, untouched.
