Hey all, this is my very first post so please be gentle.
I have been reading up on here for a while, and have been playing around with a few different 18650 lights over the past few months. My collection consists of the following lights: Ultrafire KF-T60, Ultrafire WF-501B, Fandyfire STL-V6, and a Ultrafire TH-T60.
These lights are all great but now I want something a little more serious, something very bright. Im after something that is more geared towards throw than flood, and im not fussed about the size or how many cells it needs. I have a budget of around $80-$90 but I can stretch it if need be.
Basically, what 18650 thrower would you buy in the $80-$90 price range?
Crelant 7G5 is a great thrower and built quality is excellent. And it's right in your budget $78. However you already have the Fandyfire STL-V6 which is a great thrower.
7G5 is brighter and throws farther ...but it's not a day&night difference. If size doesn't matter buy yourself a HID. I believe it's possible to find some decent one in ~100$ range.
Thanks for the help guys, I think I will hold off for a while and keep saving. The 7G5 looks great, but if it's not going to be a huge differennce compared to the V6 then it's probably not worth it for me.
I thought about going HID but I really don't know anything about them, might be time for me to do some research.
