I am new to the forum and have a minor addiction to flashlights to which I am seeing professional help. Enough about that.
I recently purchased a new in the box Thrunite Archer 2A V3 an older version, love the light unfortunately it was DOA.
Symptoms: turn on tailswitch, no light output on any mode, but the flashlight heats up, this doesn’t bode well. New batteries,
cleaned contacts all the usual suspects, looks like you can remove front bezel to get to led, etc. , thats a bit out of my
expertise, any theory as to the heating and lack of light?? Regards

That is odd! I would suspect that there is a short on the driver, or one of the wires is broken or detached from the LED and the driver is driving nothing. If new, can you return for repair or replace?
