Solarforce L2s

Or as I like to think of it , L2small  [ 18650 ]

Always remember , the easiest thing in the world to do , is to expel hot air from your lungs and through some vocal chords ..
The resulting sound may , or may not be worth listening too ….

Nice small size, is it readily available or it is a custom?

Now with 100% all natural asbestos!

Its an extension of my L2mini ... Ever since I made the mini , I thought why not a small/short 18650 , so after almost 1 year on the back burner , the L2s was born ... [ L2small ]

Pictured , is the L2micro with a shortened CR123A extension .. [ Shortened 20 thou at the front as the threads are so deep they wont engage the body ]

Pictured with a regular L2 , you can see its quite shorter now ...  So now I have the option of RCR123A x 1  or 18650 x 1   /  Possibly now a L2sm  [ small / micro ]

If I had the space to put one I'd be tempted too. Not that I'm any good with my hands.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

How much work is it to make the micro? I take it you had to empty out the tail section?

You need to make the pill smaller , originally I used a stock L2 tailcap , but a few months ago I did a Romisen forward clicky mod , and it improved the internal space in the tailclicky ...

Here you can see how much smaller the pill needed to be , before the Romisen forward clicky mod / You will need to make the pill shorter , internal space is at a premium in the micro .

Just pull out the solarforce guts , and drop in the Romisen forward clicky unit . Might need a washer , but a rather easy mod .

Thank you. Does it matter which Romisen switch? Does the N3 handle more amperage?
