BLF Q8 (stock) max regulated output question

I just got an Emisar D4 recently and have been testing out its ramping function. It appears to be very similar to the stock BLF Q8 (which I have had for several months now); although the BLF Q8 has a lot more configurability.

However, I did notice one thing about the Emisar D4 -- when unscrewing the battery tube and first installing the battery, upon turning on the flashlight, the output level is the "max regulated" output (7135x1 or 0.35A current drain). I have noticed that at this level, there is No PWM (the only other level without PWM for the D4, would be at the max output level).

I was re-testing and comparing my BLF Q8, and I previously thought only the max output would have No PWM. But now I think there's also a max regulated level for the BLF Q8. However, my question: is there a simple way to get to the max regulated output level for the BLF Q8 (in the Emisar D4, this is done by unscrewing/re-screwing the tailcap button, which gets to 'max regulated'). I don't see a shortcut for stock BLF Q8 to get to that "max regulated output level".

Is there a shortcut (that I haven't found out) for the Q8? Or do I need to have its firmware updated to Narsil v1.2, or possibly need to flash to Anduril to get that option (shortcut to 'max regulated' output level)?

Another thing that I observed: I had been wondering before, when I'm ramping the BLF Q8, upon releasing the button, the button sometimes blinks once, and sometimes blinks twice.

Now, I think I guessed the meaning of the blink-once and blink-twice after ramping: it appears that it blinks once when the output level is below the 'max regulated output' level. It blinks twice when it is above 'max regulated output level'. Which still begs the question, since it's a bit difficult to exactly get to the "max regulated output level' (have to keep checking if it blinks once or it blinks twice after releasing the button). <== this feature doesn't seem to be indicated in the documentation, or I hadn't read carefully?

The Emisar D4, when ramping up or down, it will have an extremely quick "blink" when it's passing the "max regulated output level" (I hadn't noticed it initially until I was observing the light more closely) -- I find this feature to be informative and not that annoying (it would probably be a bit annoying if the blink had been a bit longer duration). The BLF Q8 doesn't appear to have this (no quick-blink marker when passing its "max regulated output" level)

You need to check Q8 UI sheet (should be included in the box with flashlight).
Yes for some (unknown for me) reason not all mode sets dont include 100% 7135 0% fet mode. Just half of sets include this mode, if you want to avoid PWM you have to setup right mode set. Anyway you need to deactivate ramping and use fixed modes.

You need to choose set from 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 11.

Thanks! So it’s there when in groups mode, but no shortcut from ramping mode…
