This week i bought three sipik 68's

I wasn't terribly impressed.... but I did like the looks of M3TAL L0RDS.

So i broke out the searrated knife and tortured it ..And then the 60 grit sandpaper and a bit of wire brushing in a cold garage in the dark ,,,

Beautiful you ask?? well..... it's thrashed and has a certain charm it didn't have before .

there's something to be said to taking a knife to a brand new light .

At least I was trying to carve it up at interesting angles

has anyone else done this to their sipik or any other lights ??

nope, but i do like the look

when I stop buying lights long enough to buy a metal checkering file, I'm going to go nuts on a C3, maglite and a colt gov't model .45!

my black 3w tacticle energizer. no pics but its got the "thingies" kind of like the l2x, so i filed off the black from the tops of those and inside the groves on the tailcap and head. not as nice looking as the sipik though

That is an expensive file but it sure would be fun working with one.

metal lords sipik looks awesome! too bad my sipik hasn't arrived yet (10 working days now while average from china is 8 :())
