County Comm Copper Rev 2 - Any hope to fix?

I got the Copper AAA light from County Comm in Nov 2013 and it recently died on me. I was trying to get my dead Fenix LD01 to start working again by cleaning the contact with a touch of rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab. I figured I’d clean off my favorite copper light at the same time. It hasn’t worked since. Any advice you might be able to give about how to get that light working again would be wonderful. I carried it every day up until it stopped working.

I also have a Thorfire PF04 that stopped working. Is it common for these lights to just give out after a while?

I’m curious if I did something I shouldn’t have by trying to clean the contact with rubbing alcohol.

A flicker, gradual dimming, etc., would likely be fixed with an alcohol rub. If it just upped’n’croked suddenly, chances are something else went.

Dropping it, even on a table, might jiggle something loose.

Even trying to take it apart and reassembling it might “fix” something that jiggled loose.
