Man, AliExpress Stores Sure Take They’re Time Shipping Orders!

I’ve bought items from AliExpress stores in the past but they sure seem to take their sweet time nowadays.

I have 3 different orders that I placed 3-4 days ago and when I check on them, it says they’re still processing them. It’s kind of aggravating.

That's not too bad at all.  I'm used to getting orders from ali 3-4 months after I place them.

Bah with some seller you have an almost instant "shipped" status while the tracking shows the parcel starting moving only 8-10 days later Wink

Some sellers are really fast though like all my Sofirn orders took less than 15 days from order to delivery.

It is very normal in some kind of stores! After the 4th – 5th day, I normally send message to the seller reminding them to pack my stuff! It usually works as a reminder Wink

Wow, now that’s unacceptable klrman! Yeah, I realize ordering from China can take a long while and after you order, forget about receiving it in a timely matter but they could at least let you know when they will ship.

It's happened so many times  I've lost count.  I will say that two exceptions were Sofirn and Mateminco, they have been pretty good and when they say they will ship via epacket they really do.

They let us know when they ship it, we get a message on APP and/or e-mail! The thing is, it takes long in some stores.
Examples:
a) Sofirn took 1 day to ship the C01 flashlights on the 11/11, and when the sent it (logistic number created), I got a message.
b) some months ago, my girlfriend ordered some stuff from a papers crafts store and after 4 days, there was no notice, so she sent a message and in the next day the shipped it!

When we look at the stores “feedback” we can see if they took long or not to ship stuff and how communicative they are or not with costumer! Some stores may not be so fast on shipping due to the type of materials they have! Convoy is an example, Simon has to costumize all the flashlights’ according to our requests, so it is hard to do it being 1 or 2 people only Wink

Just some examples, not all stores have human resources to ship our stuff right away Wink

Considering the mess that it could be sometimes, a week to start moving isn’t that much…

Yeah, it’s amazing sometimes because I’ve ordered from China and received my orders in less than 2-3 weeks. Others have taken 4-6 weeks. I’ve never had orders go beyond 2 months.

I know, I know, the old addage that when you order from China just forget about it until it arrives. It’s just that I wish they would at least tell you they’ll ship in 4-5 days or whatever.

Remember Ali is just taking orders, then they send a message out to whoever out there somewhere in China is providing the item and tell them to ship one to you.

Yep what that video shows in sorting center is really crazy but i mean before the parcel even leave the factory/seller.

An other weird thing i had several times is seeing the parcel "bouncing" many times at the export custom

That’s funny! I do remember watching a documentary about USPS and FedEx a couple of years ago and it showed all these complex conveyors completely loaded with packages
and employees plucking packages from one line and actually throwing them to another line and some bouncing around on the floor.

You want to talk about crazy tracking? This is for a Banggod order shipped 18 days ago. The last update, 17 days ago, shows it was loaded on a plane. Nothing after that. And what the heck happened at 9:41- exported to open and demolished? I’m hoping that’s a translation error.

LOL, now that's what I call tracking!  A wonder any parcel even makes it to it's final destination.

No. It’s usually pretty quick for China shipping. I usually get my packages within 2 to 3 weeks.

With the strikes on the west coast however, that waiting time has been doubled.

So I’m not expecting to get my Sofirn C01 until the holiday, so that will probably be delayed until next year.

And let’s not talk about the Fireflies PL47 lol.

Depends who you are ordering from.  Except for sofirn and a few others, I've stayed away from Aliexpress because of the ridiculous transit times and fake tracking updates.

Finally got an update to my tracking. The package that was shipped from China, by airline, October 31, arrived in New York at 9 pm, Nov 17. That’s a 17 day flight from China to USA.

Since the most shops don’t have warehouses themselves, all they do is order the part from a bigger company to you and mark the order as shipped…

Yeah, it seems if you order from stores at A.E. that advertise here, you get them reliably and fairly quickly most of the time.

Otherwise, I’m about through ordering from A.E. unless the store is aboard here on BLF. I just went through 2 more disputes with them and luckily Paypal came to the rescue.

My go to Chinese dealer is still Fasttech. 7-8 orders in past several months and they’ve always come through.

Ordered Raspberry Pi heatsinks (copper / aluminum 2 sets of 2 each). The order was paid on Feb 13th. The seller just sent me a message tonight that they’ll ship it soon. Almost 3 weeks have passed and there is still no date for a shipment.

This isn’t the first time this happened and all these stores have stellar feedback profile (98.8% or better).

I really am through with ordering from AE! Three orders and two I have to file disputes! Like I said, one was refunded by AE and thankfully the other was refunded by PayPal! If you still want to order from AE, make sure they accept PP!

Like your experience USA, the AE store tells me they received my PAID order and it will be shipped soon. A couple of weeks go by and then they say it’s been shipped. Then more weeks go by and nothing. When I placed my orders, both stores said the items were in stock. When I finally put in a dispute, both admitted they weren’t in stock or couldn’t ship them because of postal limitations. WTF?

I’m soured on AE! Use at your own risk!

I only order from known & trusted stores on AE. That usually leads to a more pleasant & harmonious experience for me. Wink
