Diffuser for Olight M3X?

Can anyone think of a good diffuser that would work on the M3X? I don't think I'm going to be able to resist the great deal at DD, and it seems like a good option to have for a thrower.

If there´s no proper diffuser cone available, you can always use diffuser film behind the lens.

I´ve used "FASTCAR" diffuser on some of my Solarforces, I like it a lot.

The diffuser from SR51 should work nicely:

He is correct. I just tried it and it fits perfectly.

Thanks! I didn't know that these were available separately.

Both the M3X and SR51 are looking pretty cheap (not budget, tho) on DD, and that diffuser is almost the difference between them. Would the SR51 be worth the extra cash? I've heard lots of good things about both. I'm looking for a good thrower.

Selfbuilt measured 39k cd for the SR51 and 46.5k for the T40CS. The M3X should top the T40CS, unfortunately Selfbuilt does not have a M3X review. (you cannot compare between the figures from all other sources directly, but it does give you an idea)

The M3X is a better thrower than the SR51. It will depend on which shape you like better.

I was thinking of both but instead, I bought a M3X and a Fenix TK41. The TK41 is similar in size, output and shape to the SR51 and has the side button but instead of using 18650 Li/ion it uses 8xAA NiMh batteries. (it will run on 4 AA batteries in a pinch) That was a huge plus for me. It also costs a little less.

I really do love both these lights. I guess if I could only have one, it would be (breaks my heart to say this) the TK41. The two extra modes including a low of 10 lumens do it for me as well as it's superior tail stand ability which makes it a great light to light up a room in an emergency power outage.

I have both. I like the M3X for its throwing abilities. The best XM-L thrower I have by far. But the Olight SR51 is the better light in my opinion. It throws well and has a nice smooth beam and feels great in your hand. I love the side clicky.
