Need help finding hard wired color changing lights for shelves etc

I'm looking for really nice led lights that can change color and can be hard wired to a low voltage device to use in several shelves and book cases in my home. Promised my wife for a long time and never did anything about it. I don't want battery powered lights that need to be charged, just hard wired type lights. Round puck style lights would be nice that I can mount under shelf ceilings. What would also be nice is if they had brightness adjustment as well. Need something reliable as I will be building some walls and laying the wire for it. Any suggestions?

I've found this unit that doesn't include the 12v psu 12v lights. Hoping for something a little more robust.

Just look up “smart LED lights” in a search engine or any online shop that sells electronics like banggood.com or gearbest.com or amazon.com and find something you like. :partying_face: I have smart RGBW LED strip lights in my daughter’s room and she loves it. I’ve got a China cabinet that has a single incandescent bulb in the top for accent lighting. I’m thinking of taking that out and putting a smart RGBW LED strip in there too, around the border of the face, so it can’t be seen, but the light will fill the whole inside when it’s on. With just the one bulb in the top, there’s too many shadows. Plus, it’s boring. :stuck_out_tongue:

I've done that search a few times but I don't really like strip lights or large light bulbs for what I intend to do. If I had more time on my hands I would love to make my own star mounted to a heat sink inside a round housing with custom led colors that I can chose and then hook it all up to a dc psu but I have so many things to do that I don't think I could find the time for a couple of months at least maybe more.

Ah, okay. Maybe someone will come along who can help you. All I know how to do is use a search bar. :person_facepalming:

Hey no worries, using the search bar is still the best but for some reason I'm having a hard time finding what I am looking for. I may have to settle with the one from BG and buy my own psu to drive it if I can't find something else.

@klrman

Have a look at Costco I believe they have a box of 6 for $45.
Here you go.
Or go fancy with these.

I'm hoping for the puck light type that can change color but may pick up some of those clear ones from costco for starters thanks for the link!
