Pet/Animal Companion Thread - Pics inside.

There has been much mention of our pets (assistants, companions, familiars) scattered about, but I wanted to start a thread dedicated to the furry ones that make our lives so much more full.

I suppose they don't have to be furry. I don't want to be seen as an exclusionary furrist, or anti-reptite, because I love 'em all, big and small. Heck, my first pet was a Water Snake (Natrix natrix)

The current menagerie include the following brother/sister Great Pyrenees dogs, who just turned seven:

(apologies for the iPhone pics)

Not mine, but for scale:

This is the female, with one of the rescue cats:

I couldn't ask for a more out of these gentle giants - they are stubborn, but loving.

Anyone else?

Our two Goldens. Herbie meeting his sister Daisy for the first time (they are both 6).

Chelsea, A.K.A. - Chelseroo, Chelly, Chelse.

Chelsea

She is the most unique cat I have ever met. Not a fancy cat, just an animal shelter kitten (now going on 7 years old), but she's a peach!

Meet her almost twin sister by look and age:

Sorry for the picture quality. She's my fluffy little bunny and feet warmer.

..in the snow

frosty morning... he is Dante 8 years old

she is "Öreg Mama" a true survivor house cat, 9-10 (i dont know exactly) years old and very fit

new generation...he is "Csutka" in english "Corn Cob" :)

2010

2011

Corn cob must absolutely be a very lovely cat. The Öreg Mama althrough a black beauty looks a very calm cat.

Sabrina, she's about 14 years old was rescued from the dump...Bud, he is 6 years old and was rescued from under a house by my kids...Mollie is about 2 years old and she was brought home by my wife from some lady giving them away on Craigslist. Funny thing is I used to HATE cats but now the first thing I do every morning when I get home from work is give them a can of Tuna. Now my wife hates them, says I talk to them more than I do her.

Famous Anatolian Sheepdog Kangal. I don't have yet but, i would like to have one:

my dog taking a rest...

this guy has passed on.

one of a kind.

I'll post his sister and her two buddies later.

Very nice dog and place dthrckt

Wish to be there fishing with the dog on side :)

thanks, wish I could take him fishing again, anywhere, more than anything

that dog was a fierce guardian, affectionate companion and in a harness he was like having a remote controlled snowmobile in front of my sled.

btw - your sheperd only LOOKS like he's resting, but the ears show he's on the job;) btw, I said 'he' because you didn't say your bitch

That place is Indian lake, the peak is Snowy Mountain.

Lots of Lake Trout, BIG Northern Pike and island campsites - free running dog paradise.

My oldest of 2 black labs, Max, in his favorite chair. I think he was about 8-9 months in this pic.

Max again on St Pattys day, haha

You've gotta love the look of a sheperd. I've had 7 dogs - one was a sheperd mix. She was like a super soldier - smart as a whip and when spoken to she always snapped to attention like it was her first day at a new job...

My new baby, Bear!

Bear is one cute dog! I bet everyone loves that dog

that picture belongs in a calendar!

So cute pics :D Thanks for sharing, guyz ;)
