$5195.00

5200$ wow that’s insane!

It is crazy! More like an expensive wristwatch rather than a light. The website hasn’t developed much (from a design point of view), but I remember the devices selling on CPF in other versions years ago.

There are even youtube videos showing this light starting fires.

Is that blue lens a 4K HD projection TV run off a single 18650. I hope so for that price. :stuck_out_tongue:

HMMM, that more than I ever paid for a car.
I dont even have the desire to look it up on YT.

I remember when that Data gent came aboard CPF years ago. Very talented guy. Even though they are very finely crafted, I gasped at $300-$400 a piece back then but he sold a boatload of them through the years.

He says he’s sold over 90% of the $5,200.00 5V lights! Wow! Shipping’s even reasonable at $30.00 USPS and $140.00 Fedex.

I like the fact that customs flashlights look very Sci Fi style, like Jedi Lightsabers, but no way I will pay so much for one.Haiku flashlights look like lightsabers to me.But price is just insane for what you get (performance part).

Mmmkay, I have some inexpensive flashlights nicely modified around here but, being you, I'll make an exception. Is $5500 enough? If not, make it €5500 and I'll let you choose the flashlight, add free shipping and even chip a box of chocolates in the deal.

^:)

Sweeten the deal with a few 30Q’s and I’ll take it.

There are some Hanko’s in exotic materials (timascus, mokume) that sell for over $6000.

lol a 5k$ light and the XHP70.2 is exposed to dust and dirt, why not use a scientific grade AR coated window?
same for the lens thats not anywhere near a professional AR coating you have in scientific devices

I have seen sapphire 99.8% visible spectrum AR coated windows in real life for laser appications you literally cant see the window, only on the edge where is no coating you see it
who cares if a 1 inch diamater costs 300$ if you want ultimate performance?

but here he sells only overpriced usual flashlight technology and quality with bad design choices

and he does not even list specs of which LEDs or Output numbers

Lexel, you should compete with him but maybe up the price to 10k$, add some pretty colored leds, make the product special looking/unique and then target market it around the globe. It seems to defy logic but there is always a market for really expensive products that are different. Can even make a brand name like Lexel Optics or something similar that sounds pricey.

Can you post a picture of it?

For $5500 I’d expect it to be hand delivered by a beautiful young woman that would perform oral favors for a year.

I’m sure there is a protective window before that XHP70.2.

I don’t care HOW sweet her voice is to yer grateful ears.

Are you SURE ya would wanna hear her TALK that MUCH?

LOL! I wasn’t talking about my ears, but you knew that! Thanks for the laugh!

That the Spy Tri-V you’re talking about?

I recall reading a review of it on CPF years ago. It’s not a recent light and it’s fairly small. I don’t think that’s XHP70.2. I think its an XPG or XML2.

I also recall reading there is no cover at all over the flood LED. The bare LED is completely exposed. Someone on CPF or with Coolfall even made 3-D printed covers to protect the front of the light.

Huh? I’m not quite sure watt yer specifically aiming at here.

Would ya expand a little more into the subject? I mean IDK about you butt after a year of that my head would explode.
