I finally modded a Yezl Y3 with the primary intent of a long-run-time unit that gives a useful level of light.
It has the original driver, an MTG-2 emitter (on copper) and three new Vappower cells claiming 5200 mAh each and 20A / pulse 30 A discharge capability.
With my DMM on the 10A scale, I’m reading .09, .34, and 1.50 at the tailcap on L/M/H.
‘Low’ gives me all the light I’d ever need - but my question is, what could I expect for run time?
