I’ve been looking for some superconductor rod but it’s rare as hens teeth.
I found this on eBay but it’s US only.

This guy on ebay has about 2000lbs of niobium titanium alloy. He has it listed all at once, but contact him, and let him know what you’re looking for and he’ll sell you a chunk

That’s the same guy. I didn’t message him because he clearly states in his listing “US only”. I guess I can only try and see what he says.
Supposedly. Seems pretty common to make rings from this stuff. I was thinking if I could get enough material I could do a head and tail with it.
I contacted the seller but he hasn’t replied. Maybe I offended him by asking something he already negated. Still looking for help.
So, what size piece are you trying to get and what is the typical shipping cost from the U.S.A. to you?
As far as size the first link is pretty close to what could use. 25-30mm diameter, 50-75mm long. At the longer length I could easily make a complete host.
Shipping I’m a bit vague on because the weight of the item would increase cost. I’m guessing in the $30 range would be reasonable but could be more? Of course, I would need to flick a few dollars to whoever helped me. Alternatively we could make a trade for lights I have…?
