[02-JAN-2012] Reset "Watched Posts" database

Hi everyone,

I'm having a strange problem with the post update email notifications since we switched to the new host. Messages keep getting stuck in the queue and they throw errors. I would like to uninstall and then re-install the "Watched Posts" module. Would anybody be upset if they lost their list of Watched Posts?

Thanks!

OK, mission accomplished. Let's see if this fixes anything.

for yourself. we can re-mark the ones we want to watch. it would probably help with a little housecleaning also.

Looks like it's not a problem for most.

Thanks for administering this valuable site.

I still cannot see any of my watched posts.  ????

OOOOPS.  I see that you modified something.  I did use my watched posts daily, but no problem I guess.

I was wondering why my watched post list disappeared. Now I know..

Hm, looks like "My Watched Posts" is... was quite useful  If the problem was because of that list, can you set it, lets say, to 2 months? I mean, display only 2 months old posts, just to shorten that list.

OK, just noticed that my settings were reseted. I started to receive emails. Option unchecked. Lets see if it works.

EDIT: it works, no more emails.

Blah! Now I know why Im not receiving 100 emails per day from this site. Mr. Admin, if its not to much trouble, is there a way that you could update my profile for watched posts from a backup prior to wiping it out? It was very helpful having the notifications.

Thanks

Unfortunately I really can't. The watched posts data isn't just a simple database field, there's all sorts of complex relationships that I don't really understand. We'll have to consider it as house cleaning for everyone. My apologies!
