Yikes it’s like $55 USD to ship a 5lb box to netherlands. it’s so expensive!
So the shipping kills the deal? I know that hot plates and hot air stations are pretty heavy. You should get a travel adapter that converts 110V to 220V.
I would think that one could step up the US voltage, likely that the frequency will not matter since the PID and most of the electronics will run on DC output from an internal power supply and the heating elements are not going to know the difference between 50 and 60 hertz. But, this is not a promise that it would work. Nice looking unit!
