question about this flashlight

if its truely a q5 then this should be comparable to the MCU-C7s q5...

im just curious if its a POS or quality

You can't tell a bin unless you have at least a lightbox, and electrical measurements from the emitter, unless you have exactly the same light w/ definitively known bin to compare against.

 

I'm guessing not that many people would go to the trouble.

 

I also seriously doubt many "Q5" lights sold as that are Q5, especially since chinese manufacturers are known to use off-spec parts to drive down cost. "R5" for example has become the standard nomenclature for an XP-G, and we know they sell many XP-G that are not R5.
