Mateminco lights that I have (helpful for size comparison)

Left to right:

Mateminco TO2 (Astrolux FT02); Mateminco MT35Mini (Astrolux FT03); Mateminco MT35 (Astrolux MF02); Mateminco MT35Plus (Astrolux MF04)

Mateminco S03 (Astrolux S43S); Mateminco TK01 (Astrolux FT01)

Additional photos upon request entertained (but no beamshots yet as my cameraphone doesn’t show the real tint of the leds installed).

Now you need an MT18S (MF01S)

You’re certainly correct!

I wonder why the Astrolux branded lights are more popular and widely available then Mateminco. You would think one would like a light from the ’ original’ manufacturer.

Very simple, BG sells Astrolux. Where do you get a Mateminco from?

One reason I like the Mateminco over the Astrolux is design:\

My Mateminco SO3 (Astrolux S43S) has a “scalloped” tube, while the Astrolux version has only the plain straight tube version: (S43S photo courtesy of maukka’s review)

AliExpress, they have their own store

Almost all vendors are very easy to deal when ordering,

but when the time comes there are problems with the light

you receive, Mateminco on Aliexpress sails past them, and

yes, especially BG.

I agree, they are very communicative helpfull.
If you have a problem they wil do everything to help/fix it
I asked them to build me a custom MT07 from scratch and they where very happy to do so :sunglasses:

So you are saying AlIExpress is that much batter than BG? I have a hard time believing that. I though they were equally bad .

I actually do have that experience hence why I only order from Aliexpress. Had a handful of cases where I asked for a replacement part or a refund and it was never an issue as long as you can provide evidence. Apperently our friends from Russia make a sport out of it for getting refunds or free stuff. Besides flashlights I am very active on knives and replica watches. It helps I have quite a few Chinese girlfriends who can help me when needed.

Ok, good to know. BG is horrible. I mean so bad they should not be allowed to operate in the USA.
